My client based in Melksham is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Programmer/Toolmaker to join their small engineering business located in Melksham.
You will be joining an established business that has been established over 30 years, and be part of a small team of machinists manufacturing high quality products in various materials in batch or single quantities.
They manufacture products for various industries including Automotive, Aerospace and Defence.
This position will involve working a day shift pattern Monday to Friday.
Duties:
- Programming and setting of Bridgeport CNC mill with Heidenhain controls
- Working to ISO 9001
- Producing small batch components for machines and tooling
- Operating manual lathes and horizontal and vertical mills
- Operating and setting surface grinders
- Working to technical drawings with 0.0005inch/0.01mm limits
- General Maintenance of Workshop machines and tooling
Skills / Experience Required:
- Previous experience with Bridgeport mills preferred
- Ideally you will have served a recognised apprenticeship
- Siemens controls experience an advantage
