This is a great opportunity to join a large and growing organisation as a Project Manager. You will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects and take ownership of small to medium size projects. If you have a background in systems or operational management in logistics or a 3PL this could be the chance to gain real career progression.

Job role:-

• Lead the successful implementation of small to medium projects for both new and existing clients.
• Assist where required in the support of larger scale projects.
• Liaise closely with client IT & logistics professionals, internal IT infrastructure and solutions teams and software vendor technical staff.
• Take responsibility for project planning and control utilising the solutions team toolkit and reporting system.
• Work closely with the IT infrastructure team and outside contractors to assist in defining the infrastructure and hardware requirements design. .
• Lead and manage all system testing through to sign off for production.
• Responsible for producing and maintaining all system documentation including functional specifications, change requests, process mapping, training material and version control management.

Candidate requirements:

• Strong foundation knowledge in logistics operations and WMS functionality.
• Project management skills, especially in the area of realistic planning and resource management within a relatively small project team.
• Good understanding of interface file formats and file transfer protocols.
• High level of competency with MS Office Suite (especially Excel) as well as MS Project and Visio.
• High standards of documentation control and management.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and be a confident communicator.
• A background in system or operation management and a successful track record (Ideally within a 3PL environment)
• Well-developed project management/support skills (ideally involving E-fulfilment warehouse processes) with an analytical nature.

Required:

A valid driving license is required.
