National Citizen Service is a national personal and social development programme for young people aged 16-17. The NCS Trust has awarded our client, a national youth charity, and their partner, a national youth volunteering charity, a multi-million pound contract to deliver NCS across the North East of England and maintain quality whilst achieving significant growth throughout the contract period, from autumn 2015 – summer 2018.

Data Analyst
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Contract: Fixed term contract to June 2018
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: circa £20,000 per annum

The Data Analyst will work with the Data Manager to ensure that NCS delivery in the North East uses data driven approaches to inform all aspects of planning, delivery, and innovation, and be accountable for providing up to date and timely data for funders and Directors.

Working closely with the Data Manager, you will lead on the management and development of the NCS data strategy. This will include implementing and reviewing their use of the NCS CRM system alongside their subcontractors, to ensure a cross organisation approach to data processing, data analysing, and reporting. You will also be responsible for ensuring their office and those of their subcontractors are fully ISO 27001 compliant.

To be successful in the role you will be educated to degree level or equivalent with experience of working with a Salesforce CRM system. You will have experience of database management and complex reporting. Experience of using research methods to collect data as well as analysing quantitative and qualitative data will be required. Excellent planning and project management skills are essential with high level of skills in data manipulation techniques. Technical trouble shooting skills with innovative problems solving skills will be essential.
