A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Process Operative to join Macphie of Glenbervie; a manufacturing company of food ingredients and solutions. The role is permanent, 40 hours per week with a salary of £16,989 p.a. plus 32 days holidays.

The Role
As a Process Operative you will assist in the manufacture of food products to the established standards of safety, output, quality and hygiene. Your other responsibilities will include:

  • Working safely at all times in accordance with policies, procedures and legislation.
  • Carrying out cleaning schedules in the production and packaging area ensuring a high standard of hygiene/sanitation.
  • Storing, feeding, mixing, blending, freezing and packaging food products.
  • Packing / metal detecting and inspecting products and the established standards of weight control.
  • Palletising, wrapping and labelling finished goods.
  • Extensive manual handling.
  • Exposure to a cold environment.
  • Helping in other departments as required.

Requirements
Previous experience within a warehouse / food services environment would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
