Test Engineer

My client is an international IT Service Management software company who develop, implement a sophisticated and high-value business software solution.

With offices in Edinburgh, across Europe, the Middle East, North America & Asia Pacific and with strategic partnerships worldwide, we specialise in delivering Help Desk and IT Service Management solutions to large blue chip organisations and to the public sector while offering world class, best practice consultancy solutions.

The successful candidate will be part of their Development team, providing world class software development solutions for their unique product suite, as well as developing software concepts to support multiple access channels with associated user interfaces satisfying the needs of a diverse set of users.

Essentials skills should include:

- University Degree in Computer Science, Software engineering or equivalent
- Extensive experience of Java Development and JavaScript
- RDBMS knowledge and experience, eg SQL Server and/or Oracle
- Experience of working within Agile and multi-discipline teams eg scrum

Desirable skills though not essential include:

- Application Servers: JBOSS and/or Web Sphere
- System integrations eg Message Bus or CTI
- DoJo or jQuery, HTML, CSS
- Java EE technologies such as EJB3, Servlets, JSP, JMS, etc.
