We've got a fantastic opportunity for a Specification Technologist to join our manufacturing site in Grimsby.
Working as part of Technical team you'll be responsible for the accurate and timely generation of all final and factory specifications relating to the products made by the business.
The Specification Technologist Role:
As a Specification Technologist, you will act as primary contact between NPD, Production and Technical to ensure that the company Specification system, NPD specifications and internal specifications are aligned, accurate and maintained.
You will administer all of the documentation within the Quality Management System, report generation for site and central functions and coordinate the Internal Audit schedule for the site to ensure that the factory and the customers have accurate tools and reports with which to achieve food safety, legality and quality.
What skills do I need to be a successful Specifications Technologist?
> Accuracy and attention to detail in every element of your work
> Prior experience in a similar environment (ideally within the food industry)
> A flexible attitude to task completion and an ability to prioritise your workload in line with business priorities
> Committed to team working
> Excellent verbal, IT and written communication skills
> The following skills and experiences are also highly desirable
> Opal Artwork trained and competent
> Legal labelling trained and competent
> Experience in using the M Create specification system.
