The SAP BI/BW/BPC Lead Architect will work closely with the Global Program manager of the programme and 3rd party consultants and will make sure SAP BI/BW/BPC architecture is designed and developed according to the SAP best practice.

Primary Responsibilities:

The SAP BI/BW/BPC Lead Architect will bring deep technical/functional knowledge pertaining to business reporting solutions and become a key part of Global project team. This candidate will work closely with the Implementation Partner's resources as part of an integrated project team.

The SAP BI/BW/BPC Lead Architect will:

  • Establish/maintain architecture guidelines and roadmaps for business reporting solutions that are aligned to best practice.
  • Define/maintains solution architecture design standards and patterns.
  • Support technical delivery of all custom code developed as part of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Must have experience of working with an onshore/offshore model.
  • Defines programme BI tool selection and roadmap as appropriate.
  • Contribute to defining and documenting the high level design of the system.
  • Define/maintain optimized ETL, Warehouse Modelling and reporting layer architecture to the development team incorporating acceptable performance tuning considerations.
  • Communicate and agree technical strategies with key stakeholders and be able to liaise with MIS stakeholders.

The SAP BI/BW/BPC Lead Architect will have the following experiences and expertise:

  • A demonstrable track record in developing, planning and delivering data warehouse and analytics solutions to multisite organisations.
  • Participate in the development and support of reporting solutions primarily using the SAP Business Information Warehouse (BW) application, SAP Business Objects tool set such as WEBI, SAP BO Dashboards, and Data services.
  • Experience with best in class data management, data warehouse and BI/Analytics products (eg SAP Business Objects).
  • Demonstrable and recent technical experience and skills including the roll out and delivery of BI/analytics to end users.

The SAP BI/BW/BPC Lead Architect will have experience in development and implementation of solutions using Business Information Warehouse and BI reporting.

  • Work experience with development of BI reporting using SAP Business Objects tools such as WEBI and Dashboard.
  • Experience with ETL tools like Data services.
  • Performed at least 3 full life cycle implementations of SAP BI solutions and experience or good understanding of other SAP Application such as ECC (ERP) with large end user organization or IT services/consulting organizations
