An excellent opportunity to work for a well-established and successful company in a rural location as a full time Sales Administrator, a permanent position in a friendly, fast paced, environment.

Company:

Our client is a leading UK trade manufacturer of corporate and promotional merchandise. They have a team of 45 at their factory in Herefordshire, of whom 30 are involved in production. 95% of company sales are from products that they print and manufacture themselves, with an ongoing programme of high quality product development.

Role:

The main purpose to this role is business to business sales support mainly to our client’s UK trade distributors in the corporate gift and promotional markets.  Full training on their products, artwork & systems will be given in a structured training program.

Key duties include:

  • Responding to incoming emails and phone enquiries from customers in a timely manner
  • Adhering to our clients Service Level Standards
  • Providing customers with quotations using our client’s bespoke quote system
  • Processing your own orders through the same system
  • Negotiating on price, delivery and specifications with customers and production management
  • Following up quotes or artwork proofs in a timely manner
  • Customer service of the highest level
  • Liaising with our client’s factory to check the progress of existing orders
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via telephone calls and emails
  • Representing the company around the UK at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations (driving license & occasional overnight stays required)
  • The position does not require cold calling

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous experience in promotional or gift markets or knowledge of corporate identity schemes

  • Apple Mac computer use
  • Database experience
  • Adobe creative software

Position: Trade Sales Administrator

Location: Herefordshire

Salary:  Circa £17-19K depending upon experience, after trial period.

Our client’s office hours are 8.30am to 5.30pm with morning and afternoon drinks breaks and a half hour for lunch. Annual holiday is 28 days including bank holidays (bank holidays account for 8 days). An annual factory shutdown at Christmas accounts for 3-4 days
