Power Supply Design Engineer

The Power Supply Design Engineer will have an excellent opportunity to design and development bespoke power supply systems. The Power Supply Design Engineer will;

Generate bespoke power supply design solutions, based around the company's existing range of power products.
Have a knowledge of EMC filtering circuits
Be confident in taking projects from concept through to detailed design, manufacture, test and delivery.
Be aware and comply with all current legislation relating to the design and use of equipment within the electronics industry
Compile detailed documentation packs incorporating schematics, PCB design and layout
Have strong team-work skills.

Successful Power Supply Design Engineer will have the following qualifications and experience:

Degree in Engineering Design, or an HNC with relevant experience.
Experience of all power supply technologies, including SMPS and Linear
Excellent communication skills at all levels
Have a methodological and logical approach towards projects
Be able to manage time-scales, ensuring project deadlines are met
Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication
Some background in digital communication technologies; e.g. I2 C would be advantageous.
