Inspection Engineer

Richard James Associates is a specialist Engineering and Management Consultancy that provides services predominately in the Leisure Industry. Our services include Annual Inspection (Amusement Devices, Buildings, etc.), Design Review, Initial Testing, Engineering and Safety Assessment/Certification, Project Management, Quality Assurance and Quality Control.

We are currently seeking Mechanical, Structural & Electrical Engineers to carry out design review, inspection and testing work on a wide variety of projects.

The work is varied and involves the inspection and testing of all types of amusement devices, structures and electrical installations at various fixed amusement parks and locations across the UK.

Applicants will generally work from home and will need to be computer literate and capable of managing their own work load from a pre-arranged programme of work.  

Applicants will be expected to have a good background knowledge in their relevant engineering discipline and if possible experience in the field. However, suitable graduates will also be considered

A full driving licence and own car is required (mileage allowance provided), together with the ability to work flexible hours.

Qualifications - suitable Degree/HNC/HND/ONC/OND preferred but other relevant qualifications and/or experience will be considered. Training will be given to a suitable candidate.

Benefits include flexible hours, 25 days holiday plus statutory Bank Holidays.

The company is based in Cheshire and engineers based in the North West of England would be preferred but our engineers work from home offices when reporting or carrying out office work and thus for a suitable candidate other locations will be considered.
