Female Live-in Care Worker Required in South East London

Abacus Care Greenwich requires an experienced live in carer to work with our client in South East London.

Duties include domestic duties, cooking, shopping, companionship and personal care.

Our client is a young lady who has physical disabilities and uses a wheelchair. She plans to attend University in South East London in September and needs a live-in carer to help her with her every day routine.

Requirements:

At least 12 months experience of working with elderly or disabled adults in their own homes on a live-in basis. - essential

At least NVQ/QTS Level 2, in Health and social Care or equivalent - essential

Good communication skills, must speak English to a fluent level - essential

Experience in catheter care and personal care of adults with physical disabilities - essential

You should be friendly, empathetic and a fun person to have around - essential

Organised, ability to work responsibly with minimal supervision - essential

Able to work on a two week on two week off rota, 7 days a week and commit to at least 6 months - essential

Driver with full licence - desirable

Living in or around South East London - desirable

You will receive GBP595 per 7 days worked, board and lodging is provided. After 6 months you may be entitled to a pay increase.

An enhanced DBS report is required for this post.
