Senior Library Assistant

This prestigious and historic independent school is seeking applicants for: 

12 hours per week
Reporting to the Research Librarian, you will provide a supervisory presence in the Library, and facilitate learning by enabling pupils to access and exploit the potential of library resources. Key responsibilities will include ensuring pupils are assisted in the development of independent research skills, offering one-to-one support for pupils requiring help with finding and using information, and general library duties including keeping the library tidy, stock removal and stock checking. You must be IT literate, with experience of working in a library. Experience of working in a school would be advantageous.
The role is term time only, and there is a degree of flexibility in the working hours.
