Glazier

This specialist historic building contractor has a requirement for a Glazier to help with works to a Grade II listed building near Bristol.

Experience working with older glass, putty pointing, and removal of glazing from old frames is essential. Experience working on listed buildings is preferred but not essential. Your workmanship should be to a high standard and photographic examples of previous projects are welcomed with applications.

Candidates with NVQ or equivalent qualifications are preferred, but demonstrable experience and skills will be equally considered.

You must be able to demonstrate good social skills and the ability to work well with other people, as well as having the wherewithal to work alone.

Experience of working on construction sites is preferred, as will candidates who have attended relevant safety training courses. You must be willing to work at height using access equipment such as scaffold towers.

CSCS card holders are preferred, or you must be willing to obtain one prior to starting work with the company.

Candidates must be proficient in the English language and be prepared to be DBS (previously CRB) checked. You must have a valid UK driving license or equivalent, and be prepared to allow driver checks with a third party.
