Technical Consultant - SQL Server/Web Services

Technical Consultant required. The successful Technical Consultant will possess strong experience in a client facing technical support or technical delivery role, and will be experienced in delivering technical services within an MS Windows Server environment.

The Technical Consultant role will span the full life cycle including design, configuration, testing, implementation and project support. The Technical Consultant will focus primarily on the delivery of client solutions and management services, internal product enhancements and process improvements.

KEY SKILLS

• Experience in 2nd/3rd Line client facing technical support and/or delivery of high volume business critical solutions
• Experience of working with web services, in particular MS Internet Information Services
• Microsoft SQL Server installation, optimisation, operational support and TSQL experience
• Understanding of communication protocols, technologies and devices
• Understanding of XML, SOAP and common data formats
• Appreciation of Service Oriented Architecture
