My client is seeking a Product Controller/Business Analyst for the Finance Change Project Team.
The current role is specifically to support the IPV system driven business requirements through to delivery but you will be part of the wider Finance Change Product Control Valuations Programme as well. This role is moving away from BAU and focusing hugely on change, global transformation and cutting edge projects.
Key Responsibilities
Proven experience in Business Analysis planning and monitoring. Including the ability to assess the complexity of the brief, identify stakeholders, identify and manage risks and issues, and develop an appropriate approach and work plan that incorporates success criteria and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Enterprise Analysis and the ability to identify business needs and opportunities for improvement via detailed analysis and understanding of overall business and systems structure, op models, strategy, flows, processes, and inter-relationships.
Business Case Development including the ability to identify and define capabilities of project deliverables, and provide justification for investment outlay through techniques such as performance and benefits measurements analysis.
Requirements Gathering and Analysis - Through usage of techniques such as process modelling, use cases, obtain, capture, validate and document business requirements to ensure completeness, relevance, and accuracy. Ensure requirements are prioritised and support business goals, standards, strategic themes and external factors such as relevant legislation.
Requirements Management be responsible for managing change control process over requirements, and ensure requirements can be traced to business case and implemented solution. Ensuring stakeholders understand and agree overall requirements
Essential Experience
Investment banking knowledge - A good understanding of investment banking products and how an Investment Bank operates.
Product Knowledge - Good understanding of key products - Bond/Cash Instruments, Derivatives and associated Finance processes in accordance with industry norms (pricing, PL, funding, reserving, independent price verification etc) .
Industry norms, relevant legislation and best practice - knowledge and awareness of industry norms, terminology, legislation, best practices and developments.
