Digital Dev Ops - SCRUM - Wales - SC Security Cleared - 380

Due to the urgency of this role, preference will be given to candidates who hold current security clearance to SC level, although candidate who are eligible and prepared to under go clearance will also be considered.

Essential Experience: You will have a background in delivering .NET applications utilising tools such as VS2013, TFS2013, MSBuild, MSDeploy, Artifactory, Jenkins/Hudson. Any Scripting experience using Powershell, Jython etc. would be advantageous as well as any experience of delivering solutions to load balanced Windows Server 2012 environments

Key Tasks Deliverables: Working as part of a SCRUM team, but reporting to the Release Team Leader, this is a key position in delivering open-sourced and in house written applications to achieve the transformational change goals of the organisation. Whilst working within the SCRUM team, you will also liaise with the ''Development Effectiveness'' team to move towards the goal of being able to ''continuously deliver'' new IT services. As part of your role you will work with various agreed tools/technologies and methods to develop a continuous delivery pipeline with a view to supporting the increasing pace software releases across a complex and demanding technical environment. You will be required to build relationships across a wide range of stakeholders and will need to collaborate with others to define the best technical strategy to achieve continuous delivery. The role is predominantly a hands-on technical role and will require the successful candidate to develop/implement solutions to manage the build, release and configuration aspects of software delivery.
