They currently have an interesting opportunity for a confident, motivated individual to join their new Securitas Academy for Training & Development as Training Coordinator, providing full administrative support and ensuring high levels of accuracy and attention the detail at all times.

In this role, you will ensure that all new starter information is collated from Recruitment and set up on the Learning Management System (LMS) and must act as the main point of contact for all Delegate and Academy Visitor queries, relaying any issues to management or the relevant trainer where necessary. Assisting with all training scheduling, you must set up training events in the system, assigning the correct people, resources and delegates as required, and you will also help with the set-up of the assessment environment, supporting invigilators to meet standards.

Your responsibilities are to include maintaining adequate and up-to-date learner records, storing them in the right location and in a timely and accurate manner, occasionally providing follow up support with learners to ensure learning objectives have been met during and post course, signposting opportunities and resources for further development. Running the required reporting timetable through the LMS, you must conduct regular audits / dip-tests to maintain consistency of learner records, identifying any gaps in information or otherwise erroneous data.

Educated to degree level, or with 1-2 years’ experience within an administrative, customer facing role, the successful candidate must be an excellent communicator with a high level of written accuracy and, although full training will be provided, good computer skills, comfortable with using new and unfamiliar systems. You should have a good level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and must be able to work on your own initiative.

Although not essential, experience of large scale training operations, the security industry, or an educational environment would be beneficial.
