Our client is looking to recruit 3 drivers and 3 porters. If successful with your application you will need to be available to attend 3 days training on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (10th, 11th and 12th of August).
If you are unavailable to attend the training for any reason, your application unfortunately cannot be considered.

The contract is initially on a casual basis. To be considered for full time hours, you must show that you have a good/positive attitude, are hard working, able to competently conduct a removal and are flexible around our clients working conditions.

Hours
As a company that works Monday to Sunday, you will need to be available 4 to 6 days a week. If you already have a part time job, our client will consider your application as they sometimes employ staff that are only available 2 to 3 days a week. Usual start time is between 7-8am (sometimes earlier, sometimes later). Occasionally our client works late into the evening due to unforeseen circumstances.

Requirements for Drivers

• Fluent in English
• Experienced in removals (packing, wrapping, loading vans, dismantling/reassembling, dealing with customers, etc)
• Able to complete paperwork
• Experience in driving 3.5t vans, no more than 6 points on your driving licence
• Drivers are required to supply a basic tool kit each day they work (please do not apply if you are unable to supply a tool kit)
• Good hard working attitude
• Able to carry large / heavy items
• Good stamina
• Drivers that have been disqualified for any reason will be considered as porters and not drivers.

Requirements for Porters

• Fluent in English
• Experienced in removals (packing, wrapping, loading vans, dismantling / reassembling, dealing with customers, etc)
• Able to complete paperwork
• Good hard working attitude
• Able to carry large / heavy items
• Good stamina
• Porters without experience unfortunately will not be considered
