Store Assistant

Poundworld Retail Ltd, one of the UK's leading single price retailers has an exciting opportunity for a Store Assistant to join our BRAND NEW Bargain Buys store in Hull.

The role offers an hourly rate of £6.50. This is a part-time 3 month temporary contract with the view to going permanent with more hours after the 3 month probation period.

Our stores are fast paced with over 3,000 products, challenging and constantly changing environments so it is important you have the motivation and drive to keep up with your customers to deliver a great shopping experience.

As our Store Assistant you will:

• Greet, assist and sell to customers

• Operate till and handle financial transactions

• Merchandise and replenish stock as directed

• Assist with deliveries and stock handling as directed

• Undertake cleaning and housekeeping duties

• Continually develop an understanding of the company’s culture, products, ethical initiatives, other areas of business, and reflect this in everyday performance

• Take responsibility for personal development and actively seek opportunities for improvement.

This role of Store Assistant is perfect for someone wanted to grow their career in a rapidly expanding national company. No previous experience is necessary but would be beneficial, it is all about having the right attitude and the ability to adapt to a fast paced environment.
