Technical Sales Manager

Two Technical Sales People required by an expanding manufacturing company which specializes in stainless steel drainage and architectural products.

Either position is suitable for a Full time employee based at our offices in Colchester and/or on the road.

Working under the direction of the Director, you will be expected to generate revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders; understanding and interpreting technical requirements; providing technical information; developing accounts.

Duties:
. Identifying sales opportunities through market research and Glenigan Contract Finder.

. Establishing new business accounts UK wide

. Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations; preparing quotations.

. Closes new accounts by answering telephone, fax, and email inquiries; verifying and entering information.

. Develops accounts by checking customer's buying history; suggesting related and new items; explaining technical features.

. Prepare, submit and follow up quotations.

. Become technically competent on the company products

. Attend sales events and exhibitions.
