With operations in almost 20 countries plus an international network of distribution partners they are able to provide specific solutions to customer's unique problems and now have a new and exciting opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to join their team.
In this role, which reports to the Commercial Director, we are looking for an exceptional Area Sales Manager who will exceed order intake, identify and classify new opportunities, strengthen relationships with customers and maximise sales in the gears and gearboxes side of the business. Working from a home office, and covering all of the Southern counties from Stoke to the South Coast, you will ensure prompt and professional follow up of all enquiries, assist in resolving any customer service issues, maintain detailed customer records/contact database and, working closely with the Product Sales Managers, and with the support of the internal sales team in the UK, optimise a sales strategy for territory growth.
This role is key to the continuous growth of the business so you must have at least 2 years' experience in a similar territory sales role preferably within power transmission or related international industry. Previous sales management experience is a must with strong commercial business acumen. You will be a target driven individual who is proactive and goal orientated with a natural sales ability to spot business opportunities who is able to self manage, self motivate and be extremely organised in your sales process. You will be an excellent communicator at all levels and be passionate about and committed to personal development. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right individual and we will need to see a proven track record of sales growth and customer development within your application in order to be considered for this role.
