Lead Ab Initio Developer sought by one of the UK's leading omni-channel retail organisations to lead a cross functional, agile team of Ab Initio developers, working on a range of challenging, customer facing projects. You will take a lead role in both the development approach to support the shaping of new projects. While remaining hands on, the successful candidate will also be responsible for the recruitment, direction setting and development of the team, playing a key role in the overall design decisions for the system and ensuring adherence to good process and quality.

Candidates will demonstrate the following -

  • Strong experience of delivering Ab Initio applications in a multi-file environment.

  • UNIX/AIX experience and use of Scripting to streamline development.

  • SQL writing and performance tuning.

  • Performance tuning of Ab Initio code.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Ab Initio Developer to play a key role in leading the ongoing development in a challenging and fast paced environment.
