An Enterprise Channel Manager - Unified Communications is sought by this award winning IT Consultancy & solutions provider, who are recognised in the market, as having an eye for the bigger picture are in need of an Enterprise Channel Manager, to join their EMEA team based in Reading.

They have developed a strong national presence with a strong, diverse customer base spread across industry verticals such as Banking, Financial services, Government, Healthcare, Travel and Hospitality to name but a few. They deliver to these clients through direct and channel engagement, customising business solutions that help organisations accelerate revenue growth, increase market penetration, optimise operating costs and improve employee productivity, by embedding communication solutions into their business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage Channel Sales to maximise sales revenues through key channels (Systems Integrators, Hardware & Software Vendors, Cloud resellers etc)
  • Develop and execute channel strategy and integrating channel programs and activities
  • Create a channel model to drive revenue growth with key partners
  • Build relationships with key channel prospects and partners
  • Focus on new partner acquisition via external campaigns
  • Facilitate joint activities with partners (including marketing campaigns, product training, events, promotions etc)
  • Collaborate with marketing to establish and manage effective campaigns and seminars to address new partner acquisition and general channel growth, partner on-boarding and general channel education activities
  • Educate Indirect and Direct sales teams on channel partner products and value, indirect sales techniques and tactics and potentially develop team of Subject Matter Experts (SME's) in Direct Sales organization.

Key Requirements:

  • Effective channel development and strategy experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to carry channel sales targets and to be successful in attainment of targets
  • In-depth understanding of the value, development and management of the channel - how it can support, drive and extend geographic and industry coverage and speed business engagement and time to market
  • Experience selling Telecommunications solutions in particular Unified Communications, contact centres, Cloud & Managed Services
  • Develop and execute sales strategies and tactics that maximise new business opportunities within the partner eco system
  • Develop and deliver accurate revenue forecasts in line with business objectives
  • Strong skills in managing and generating reports from a CRM
  • Work independently to meet agreed targets
