Deputy Registered Manager - Domiciliary Care - GBP30000 per annum pro rata

Satellite Consortium Limited is a community enterprise organisation based in North London providing domiciliary care. We are recruiting a Deputy Registered Manager to assist the Registered Manager in managing the day to day operations of the organisation.

The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent personal skills as well as previous relevant experience in healthcare and familiarity with a range of different cultures, which make up London today. They would also be self-managing, flexible and have the ability to deal with changing situations.

The role of the Deputy Registered Manager is to assist the Registered Manager in:

• Providing a supportive environment for service specifiers, users and staff
• Liaising with other professional bodies, staff, family and friends that are important to the individual service user
• Ensuring the quality of care and support delivered is of a high standard
• Carrying out service user assessments and inspections
• Meeting all the quality standards in line with CQC legislation and the New Care Act
• Reporting on performance and making recommendations on improvements of service delivery to the Board of Trustees
• Managing a staff team of support workers, carers, including day to day line management, supervision, rostering, performance management and recruitment.
• Generating new business and referrals
• Deputising for Registered Manager in her absence

Requirements:

• NVQ level 4 in Health and Social Care
• RMA / QCF level 5 Registered Managers Award or studying towards
• IT competent
• Driving License (preferable)

Salary: - GBP30000 per annum pro rata

Other benefits - on call allowance
