Full Stack Engineer

A great opportunity has become available for a Full Stack EngineerRole working with a rapidly growing and innovative software consultancy based in Leeds.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business who are going through a period of significant growth. My client are looking for skilled software professionals to come on board and grow and develop with the business. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in either Java or Open Source technologies and ideally have experience of working in a team with a DevOps culture using Agile delivery methodologies.

This is a permanent opportunity located in Leeds offering a salary of up to GBP65,000 and excellent benefits package including a bonus.

Skills and Experience

Essential

• Experience with at least one of either Java, Python, PHP, Ruby, Node,js, C++, Go or Scala
• Previous Experience of source code management systems
• Jenkins or other Continuous Integration tools
• Maven or similar build tools
• Knowledge of one or more of MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Cassandra, Redis, MongoDB
• Unit testing, TDD and BDD
• Experience of DevOps best practices and principles

Desired

• Knowledge of web technologies; HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Linux server configuration; Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Salt Stack
• Exposure to cloud computing services; AWS, Google Cloud Platform
• Log management and analysis solutions and monitoring tools; Splunk, ELK Stack, Nagios
• Virtulisation or container technologies; VMWare, Docker, Vagrant, CoreOS
