Senior Estimator

Our client has a requirement for a Senior Estimator with experience in the Offshore Renewables or Oil and Gas sector. This is a permanent role based in Fife, salary circa £40,000 negotiable on experience and the usual benefits associated with a FTSE 100 company.

Role and Responsibilities:

Preparation of detailed "bottom up" estimates

Planning and coordination of overall estimate for all costs for the project

Liaise with planning and delivery teams regarding project requirements

Supervise a team of estimators

Update and implement new processes and practices for estimating and work process

The Senior Estimator will have

Minimum 5 years experience of cost estimating with hands on technical knowledge

Familiarity and proficiency with various estimating techniques (bottom up to high level parametric comparisons)

Project management/control experience, ideally Primavera qualified

Excellent management and leadership skills

The ability to communicate with customers and collate and present information at all levels
