Electrical Installation Technician (Workshop, Classroom) BLUE26541

Our client is a Further Education College offering a wide range of courses to over 5000 full time students and over 5650 part time students each year. The college currently works with over 50 high school partners, welcoming students from Bury and the surrounding areas.

They have an opportunity available for a Technician to join them to provide support in the Electrical workshops and classrooms in a way that supports the lecturing staff and enables students to gain good practical skills.

Providing technical support in the Electrical workshops and classrooms whilst classes are in practical sessions, you must ensure that the areas are kept clean, organised and are safe working environments for staff and students and set up specialist machines and equipment when required.  This equipment must be maintained and serviced to an approved maintenance schedule which will be your responsibility, along with the ordering and accurate stock records and inventories for all materials, tools, equipment and machinery.
