Based in Brighton, at a global leading organisation in precision equipment; sensors and controls, the Power Supply Design Engineer will have an excellent opportunity to support and progress product development in this area and customization work to drive the company's growth.
As Power Supply Design Engineer, you will work in the Brighton Engineering team designing products, and work on new platform development projects to enhance the status of the company as a centre of excellence for the development of temperature controls/ sensors.
Power Supply Design Engineer must have experience with SMPS design and hardware design on 8/16/32 Microprocessor systems. Candidate will also be expected to create circuit layouts, from circuit diagrams, that comply with industry approvals.

The Power Supply Design Engineer will have a degree in an Electronics discipline, as well as;
-Proven experience in analogue hardware design- inputs, converters, switching mode power supplies (SMPS), test & measurement
-Well experienced in PCB schematic and layout design
-Background in Analogue Hardware Design, along with some Digital Controller knowledge
-Experience in design of low cost, mid complexity, mid volume products. Ability to match technology to meet performance and price constraints
-Excellent communication skills, and ability to work well within teams
-Ability to enhance the competencies and processes of the hardware team.
