Software Engineer - Embedded - Linux - IPTV - OTT - STB - DVB - Video - Drivers - MPEG - H.264 - HEVC - Streaming - Cambridge

Do you want to work for a well established and innovative company whose software can be found in millions of Set Top Box units all around the world?

My client is looking for a Senior Software Engineer their growing Video team and really get to be at the heart of the development process. You will be developing purpose built products for the IPTV and OTT Set Top Box market. Video streaming software is the key to the success of this company and, as such, you will have strong knowledge of video streaming and Digital Video Broadcast (MPEG / HEVC / H.264) . You will have experience working with device drivers (either developing or modifying) and have a background in Embedded Linux.

Essential Skills and Experience:
- Strong C/C++
- Linux / Embedded Linux
- Device Drivers
- Video Streaming / Broadcast (MPEG - H.264 - HEVC)

Desirable Experience:
- Multi - threaded development
- Low level debugging
- Network protocols
