MES Wonderware shop-floor Manufacturing - Project Manager

I have a requirement for a MES Project Manager for a 6 month project in West Yorkshire.

MES Wonderware shop-floor Manufacturing Project Manager

Rate Circa GBP450p/d

Key skills:

o MES configuration using the Wonderware suite of products
o Interfacing MES to SAP using the MII interface
o Connecting MES to shop floor machines such as fillers
o SAP modules such as PP and the use of IDOCS/RFC's used to send data to MES
o Good knowledge of project management tools using MS projects including base lining, key milestones and resource usage in the project plans
o Use of InTouch and screen development
o Knowledge of PLC connectivity and testing with MES
o A basic knowledge of networking and infrastructure especially on the shop floor including device integration to MES

Working on Project to deliver an MES based solution at the sites:-
o Planning the deployment and keeping project plans up to date including issues and risks
o Managing the system integrator to ensure delivery
o Looking at the project scope and taking aspects of configuration/developing and performing these based on experience
o Weekly updates to the Senior manufacturing BA
o Arranging and managing system testing
o Planning and delivering key user training
o Preparing documentation and scheduling end user training
o Arranging regular project reviews with stake holders.
o Designing network and infrastructure with the relevant people
o Procurement of software and hardware as required
o Be flexible and able to work at other customer sites - expenses are covered when working away from main location

When not working on projects the contractor will be expected to do the
following:-

o Provide BAU support for existing customer MES applications running where possible
o Do some basic knowledge transfer to the manufacturing analysts based on MES experience
o Review the existing MES applications and document best practice when deploying MES solutions
o Review the existing MES software stack and recommend if this the correct use based on the end solutions

Expenses will be covered for any travel from base site.
