Bookkeeper / Office Manager Job Role:

The right candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

> Monthly Bookkeeping using Quickbooks
> Vetting invoice prior to authorisation for payments
> Writing cheques and making BACS payments to suppliers, contractors
> Monthly updating of the rents received on the Property Management Software
> Quarterly VAT returns
> Service charge accounts
> Property Profit and loss and accounts
> Numerous general admin duties and assisting the director with ad hoc tasks and duties.

Character profile:

> We are looking for intelligent, articulate, focused individuals with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Property Bookkeeping and Financial accounting
> Experience of multi company inter company balance reconciliation is essential. If a qualification is not available, the candidate must be able to demonstrate their technical knowledge is exceptional
> Most importantly, you need to be very well organised; an excellent multi-tasker with the ability to manage your time effectively and prioritise duties
> Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential
> An excellent attention to details is ABSOLUTELY paramount in this position
> A very strong educational background is essential
> The use of MS Word and Excel and Outlook are essential and so you must be proficient in these

Future Prospects:

The Candidate will be offered support. The right person will be offered progression to the role of Financial Controller within 2-3 years and with this aim in sight, a full understanding of the business would be required so value can be delivered.

Package:

Hours: 9.00am-5.30pm (Mon-Fri) 
Salary range: Negotiable according to experience
