Position: Team Leader – Business Support
Location: Birkenhead
Salary: up to £21,500 depending on experience

The Company:
Our clients business, established around 30 years ago, is a rapidly expanding Financial/Marketing Services Company based on the Wirral.
They are the UK’s No1 online gift voucher and gift card company, with annual sales expected to be in the region of £22m for 2014/15 and annual growth consistently in the region of 30%.
They are now looking to appoint a Team Leader to their Business Support team in the Corporate Reward sector of the business.
The Role:
Reporting to the Business Support Manager, the main objectives of this Team Leader role will be as follows:
The successful candidate for this Team Leader - Business Support role will be to work with the Business Support Manager to support, motivate and develop individuals within the Business Support Team to reach their full potential and provide holiday and absence cover to the Business Support Manager, during these periods you will ensure that all instruction is followed and completed properly.
You will collectively maintain and improve overall quality through monitoring and feedback to the Business Support Manager and also maintain the daily checks on processed orders and fulfilments whilst identifying and proactively addressing any issues or problems within the team, highlighting areas of concern within the team to the Business Support Manager.
In addition to this you will have an understanding of company HR policies and escalate any issues direct to the Business Support Manager and support any change in a positive manner.
To be successful in this role, it is essential that the successful candidate will have knowledge of Microsoft Excel, experience in team training and development and also experience of using different IT systems.

- To meet targeted deadlines set by the Business Support Manager.
- To understand departmental procedures and daily workload.
- To document and communicate any required changes within the team on instruction.
- To partake in the Business Support Team training and development.
- To maintain/improve a high quality of service through objective set by the Business Support Manager
- To recognise and highlight any areas hotspots or anomalies within the system.
- To implement, maintain and support changes requested by the Business Support Manager
- To quality check orders placed by the team prior to dispatch
