X2 LECTURERS IN SKILLS FOR LIFE

£28,657 - £33,193 per annum

We require two full time lecturers to join our Skills for Life team in the delivery of English, Maths and IT to a range of students taking vocational qualifications. You will mainly deliver to a variety of different sized groups and should have relevant teaching experience in Skills for Life and possess the following qualifications:

• Level 1 IT qualification e.g. CLAiT or ECDL or expertise to deliver to Level 1 Functional Skills ICT
• Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy qualification
• Level 3 Literacy or Numeracy qualification / equivalent or above
• Level 4 / 5 Subject Specialist qualification in Literacy or Numeracy or willingness to achieve
• DTLLS/ PGCE or willingness to achieve

Experience in teaching English or Maths to GCSE Level is essential together with an ability ot communicate, motivate and understand the needs of young learners. A good knowledge of learning disabilities and / or difficulties is desirable.
