Family Support Assistants

We are looking to recruit two family support assistants to support our 12 year old son, both within the home and out and about in a range of activity and social settings.
We require someone with a driving licence and knowledge of Cerebral Palsy. Initially the role will be focussed around his morning routine which will include PEG feeds, washing and dressing and generally preparing him for his day at school. The successful candidates will be needed to work from 6 – 8 am Monday – Friday during term time and one after school pick up per week. Hours will be more flexible during school holidays. A total of 16 hours per week per assistant is required. Reliability and flexibility are absolutely essential.
Assistance with some light housework duties will also be required.
Hourly rate £9.50 weekdays £10.50 weekends.
