Trainee Manager - Job Purpose:
To gain knowledge of all aspects of the Removals Business including Sales, Move Management and Operations.
Trainee Manager - Main Responsibilities:
To learn how to lead and manage the branches within their group to achieve revenue, margin and contribution targets. This will be achieved through the efficient planning, monitoring and management of the daily operation.
Deliver a consistent superior service in line with the company quality standards.
The Trainee Manager role will also be responsible for full compliance to Health and Safety and Transport Legislation.
Trainee Manager - Main Duties:
• Planning, monitoring and management of the daily operation.
• Accurate cost reporting on in-house system e.g. wages, Purchase Order’s etc.
• Complete pre-move call 48 hours prior to each move.
• Complete weekly trading report and monthly forecast.
• Proactively manage people, vehicles and materials required to meet the number of moves planned, including staff levels and holidays.
• To conduct customer visits, during and after moves to check on quality of service. Ensure that any shortfalls are fully investigated and managed to conclusion.
• Investigation of claims and complaints.
• Monitor and maintain all transport legislative requirements.
• Compliance to Group health & safety requirements.
• To maintain and monitor an up to date training matrix for all operative staff.
Trainee Manager - Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
• Full Driving license
• Minimum of 1 years previous employment
Trainee Manager - Person Specification:
• Customer centric.
• Commercial awareness.
• Exceptional planning and prioritising skills.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to motivate team and create a can do environment.
• Ability to coach and train others.
Full training will be provided; including completing a BTEC Diploma in Team Leader Level 2 or Management Level 3.
