Architects and Architectural Assistants

Nye Saunders Architects are seeking Architects and RIBA Part 2 level Architectural Assistants to join our busy office.
Nye Saunders Architects are an established architectural practice based in Godalming with a good reputation for conservation architecture, ecclesiastical design, education design and residential design – bespoke, social and
developer. We have an immediate need for highly motivated and technically proficient Architects and Architectural Assistants to work on projects in the education and residential sectors at all RIBA stages. We offer a competitive

Applicants are required to submit a curriculum vitae and sample portfolio to demonstrate their strengths in each of the following essential knowledge areas:
• Self motivated and highly organised, with the ability to manage their own projects and work as part of a team.
• Excellent design skills. • Excellent interpersonal skills for representing the Practice in client facing environments.
• Commitment to meeting project deadlines and Practice standards. • Level of proficiency with VectorWorks,
Photoshop and SketchUp.
• Experience in specifi cation writing.
• Comprehensive working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning law. • Comprehensive working knowledge of UK procurement and construction contracts.
The following skills are desirable but not essential: • Experience of traditional building techniques and historic buildings. • Experience of ISO 9001 quality assurance practices.
