Key Care and Support has an exciting opportunity for experienced independent living support workers to work within a specialised leaving care service, equipped to support Young People/Adults with complex emotional needs, coupled with offending behaviour in and around the Hull and surrounding areas.
We urgently require a dedicated team of 10 support workers who possess experience of supporting vulnerable young people in residential care environments
Candidates will be of a caring disposition with a positive attitude and a desire to make a difference to those in their care.
Staff will be required to participate in the rota for care of young people as part of a team working a 5 shift on 5 shift off rota basis and will work between the hours of 10:00-23:00 with attached sleep ins.
You will be employed via Key Care and Support to solely work with one contracted service, but you maybe required to support in different homes for this service in and around the Hull area.
Duties to include:

Emotional support to the young person

Assisting with managing of daily budgets and lifestyle choices.

Promoting personal independence

Report Writing
Update of daily care plans and logs.
What we require from applicants:
· Flexibility and Reliability (essential)
· Prepared to work 5 days away from your own home environment.
· Passionate about the CARE of young people with challenging behaviours.
· A holistic person-centred approach
Six months care related experience
· Possess or be willing to work towards a diploma or NVQ level III Health and Social Care Children and Young People
- Be prepared to continuously train in new skill sets
