Job Elements: -

• Hours: 24 hours per week (3 days)
• The role is fixed term maternity cover for 9 months, on a part time basis of 3 days per week (24hrs/week)
• Support the Company by adding value, reducing HR costs and making business improvements through the effective management and delivery of a proactive HR service to the Company.
• This is a fully generalist HR and recruitment remit, working in partnership with the business, to provide expert advice and guidance on all HR and employment matters, ensuring that an excellent and proactive service is delivered to both managers and colleagues.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on all HR and employment matters
• Keep the UK Employee Handbook up to date with UK employment legislation and current practice
• Managing and administering the Company’s performance management system – including probationary reviews and appraisals

The ideal candidate will have:

• Working towards CIPD qualifications.
• Ideally qualified to degree level in a relevant subject.
• Experience gained in manufacturing industry, ideally within a fast paced environment.
• Experience of confidently providing excellent advice and guidance to Line Managers on a wide range of HR issues and current legislation, influencing at all levels including Senior Managers and Directors.
• Solid generalist Employee Relations experience,
• A demonstrable background in introducing new HR policies, systems and procedures from scratch.
• Full driving licence
