Our client is looking to fill the following permanent position at our Bolton location immediately.

Technical Support Advisor

(Household Appliances/White Goods)

(Full-time)

A Technical Support Advisor is required at their National Service & Parts Head Office in Bolton reporting to the Technical Support Manager.

The Technical Service Advisor works in an office environment offering technical advice to domestic appliance and white goods Maintenance/Repair Service Engineers and other departments.

This role requires the candidate to have a sound technical/electrical background and several years' Domestic Appliance Service Engineer experience. This role will require a small amount of travel and time spent away from home.

This role also includes the production of technical manuals and bulletins.

The following skills are required;

  • Ability to work on own initiative, and with minimum supervision
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent track record of diagnosing faults and repairing domestic appliances first time

It is anticipated that candidates may not initially have all the above experience, but a suitable candidate will receive all training necessary to 'up skill' to the role.
