Job Elements: -
• Daily customer interface for project management, design and technical related subjects.
• Internal liaison and management of cross-functional departments in order to meet project needs.
• Overseeing prototype builds and support planning.
• Implement and deliver the project timing plan for industrialisation of new products.
• Implement and deliver the design and validation plan for new projects.
• To provide technical support and costing support to the Project Manager in order to respond to RFQ’s.
• Generating and reporting on timing plans.
• Control of project APQPs.
• To provide general technical expertise in order to support any technical response to an RFQ.
• To offer general technical support to both the Customer and other Project Managers
The ideal candidate will have:
• Engineering Honours degree (2:1 or above).
• Strong technically and able to communicate and present technical information.
• Knowledge of CAD packages advantageous.
• In addition to the above the successful candidate must also be willing to travel abroad on a regular occurrence on company business and hold a full clean driving licence.
