Our client a leading travel company are looking to recruit a hardworking, enthusiastic and reliable Reservations/Admin Coordinator to join their expanding operations team. You will be responsible for the arranging of accommodation reservations for the UK & Europe. Duties will include:
- Liaise with hotel suppliers and Agents to request, amend, and confirm hotel bookings on behalf of our customers
- Ensure all accommodation requests from customers are sourced within agreed timeframes and service levels
- Monitor, and promote the use of contracted rates and allocations providing feedback as and when required
- Maintain up to date knowledge of allocated destinations (supplier information & rates, competitor knowledge, etc)
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and agents in specified geographical areas.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal customers (Sales Teams) through clear, effective written and verbal communication
- Liaise with Operations teams to successfully resolve any pre-departure / on tour issues relating to the accommodation elements of a tour
- Ensure internal systems are updated accurately with details of all accommodation. Ensure the accuracy and standardisation of documentation issued to suppliers and clients.
You will have excellent IT/Communication skills together with a background in admin/office/customer service/retail. Travel/reservations experience would be an advantage together with a European language (German/Spanish/French/Italian).
