They now have an exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor to join their team based at their office in Basingstoke where you will provide professional HR administrative and advisory support for internal customers.

As HR Advisor, you will advise staff and line manager on personnel policies and employment laws, attend sites on a regular basis to assist in redundancy and restructures, and act as management representative during disciplinary and grievance interviews. Preparing relevant contracts of employment and conducting first interviews, you will set up and maintain personnel files and run internal training courses on employment law issues such as Absence Management, Disciplinary and Appraisals as required.

The role also includes updating policies, monthly reporting and the administration of pay reviews and bonus payments. Being involved in the recruitment process, you will prepare adverts, collate and screen CVs and assist with appointment decisions.

Our client are looking for someone who has good experience in a HR role within a demanding service orientated organisation. With a CPP qualification (or equivalent), you will have confidence to communicate with senior management, be able to manage your time effectively and be confident in all matters. Being able to cope under pressure and manage several projects simultaneously, you will have excellent communication skills, pay attention to detail and have a high level of organisation.

This is an ideal opportunity for a HR professional who is looking for develop their skills and experience with a leading company. Holding a CIPD Qualification and having TUPE experience is desirable, but not essential.
