Our client has been providing critical garment services within the UK for over 30 years. This experience has allowed the development of a range of cleanroom garments to exceed the stringent needs of all types of cleanroom users. They currently provide Managed Cleanroom Garment Rental services and Cleanroom Consumables to many companies which include NHS, Pharmaceutical, Bio Technology, Life Sciences, Medical Device, Satellite and Electronics Industries within the UK.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Product Manager to join them, reporting to the Sales Manager, building and maintaining strong relationships and networks with customers, prospects, advertising agencies, call centres, and national and international colleagues.  Your product and market knowledge will make you a key contributor to the marketing and brand strategy.  You will be responsible with support of the Sales Manager for delivering the marketing and product promotion strategy herein.

From this, your aim will be to supply the Sales Team with qualified leads each month through accurate Market research; this information will be include contact details, data on the person or the company they represent and information that qualifies them for a specific product or proposition – in other words, you will be offering them a real insight into a potential opportunity. Translating the long term goals of the company into tactical plans, you must signal new opportunities and developments from within the industry, initiating marketing campaigns and, further, managing these from beginning to end.

You will undertake brand audits, market research and customer analysis in order to identify opportunities and key issues within the market and this knowledge will then be fed into business plans, ensuring a continuous cycle of evidence based improvements. Writing articles for publicity goals and use on the website, you must interact with the media, developing and implementing a clear strategy to support the company brand and taking responsibility for developing an intuitive website.

Educated to degree level in Marketing (or similar qualification) and, ideally, a member of the CIM, the successful candidate will have a proven track record in creating and managing sales campaigns and excellent verbal and writing skills. A creative and analytical thinker, you must have strong online skills and, although not essential, experience of working within the textiles or pharmaceutical industry would be beneficial.

In return our Client can offer you a salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum + a bonus of up to 15%. For the right candidate they will consider flexible working hours to include some homeworking, subject to business needs.
