JOB TITLE: Management Trainee

 

SALARY & BENEFITS: Competitive salary plus commission and benefits package

 

WORKING HOURS: 35 hours per week

 

THE COMPANY: Established in 1970, our client is a fast moving, international chemical trading and distribution company. Serving a number of industries and sectors, the business is varied and fast paced. They are located in the picturesque town of Knutsford and boast not only exceptional offices but a nurturing and friendly working atmosphere. The business has a superb policy of promoting from within - many senior managers started there as Graduates.

 

THE ROLE: The Management Trainee will be part of an excellent Graduate Programme working within a challenging and exciting trading environment. The role involves a very clear and structured path for the Management Trainee to progress though. As the business and responsibilities are learnt, the Graduate will progress from a Sales Coordinator, up to Sales Executive and eventually become Product Manager and potentially Commercial Manager.

 

Key Responsibilities to include:-

 

Initially managing a portfolio of customers

 

Building upon those relationships over the telephone

 

Acting as liaison between departments, other offices and many suppliers

 

Demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication

 

Completing general administrative tasks accurately and efficiently

 

THE CANDIDATE: The Management Trainee will be a highly self-motivated and proactive Graduate with bags of energy and enthusiasm. Our client is looking for a Graduate who has a genuine desire to work in sales in an interesting role such as this. The Management Trainee must have excellent communication and organisational skills.

 

Key experience essential for the role:

 

Must be educated to Degree level

 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

Good telephone and relationship building abilities

 

Dynamic, lively and driven individual

 

Strong IT/Computer skills
