An experienced Finance / Accounts Assistant is sought to join this accountancy firm based in Clevedon, Somerset. As a Finance / Accounts Assistant you will be joining an ACCA approved training employer that offers a high-quality, client focused service.Title: Finance / Accounts Assistant
Location: Clevedon, Somerset
Salary: £16k - £19k per annum
The organisation is an independent company and has been established for over 20 years. Their senior management share over 50 years of accountancy experience between them, and are supported by a professional team of staff.
The company covers a broad cross section of business sectors with clients ranging from individuals up to privately owned companies located throughout the UK.
They are now seeking a Finance / Accounts Assistant, with experience within an accountancy practice to join their team. Candidates should be qualified by experience, although a qualification such as AAT would be considered.
The Finance / Accounts Assistant will be responsible for the following:
- Production of accounts
- Bookkeeping
- VAT returns
- Payroll
The ideal Finance / Accounts Assistant will possess the following:
- Experience working in an accountancy practice as an Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper / Finance Assistant
- An AAT (or part) qualification would be advantageous
- High level of attention to detail
- The ability to commute to offices in Clevedon
