Project Engineer Job

Yoh Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist aerospace client based in south wales. They provide a bespoke service to all of their clients from design through to certification and project delivery. This has given them a reputation for delivering high quality work and now works alongside some of the largest aerospace clients worldwide. Due to this success they now have multiple opportunities available within their business including this position for a Project Engineer;

The Main Duties;

- Assist the Programme Manager in the planning, control and implementation of projects.
- Realising work load using effective Project Engineering skills
- Analysing and resolving technical issues and risks
- Coordinating and Chairing client progress meetings
- Liaising with Authorities, regulatory bodies and airframe manufacturers as appropriate
- Assist the certification department at meetings with customers.
- Liaise with Design and Certification Department ensuring designs meet contract specification.
- Undertake aircraft surveys to gather data required for design.
- Provide predicted engineering hours to support quotes

Skills;

- Qualified to degree level or equivalent level of experience within Engineering discipline
- Experience in Aerospace sector is preferred however other industries such as Automotive or highly regulated industry are also considered
- Experience in writing specifications and reports, preparing test articles, conducting test programmes.

The Person;

- A Dynamic self-starter.
- Effective and confident communicator.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Not deterred by ambiguity or continual change.
