You will be working closely with the hardware team to help design their custom hardware platforms. You will be managing the design and delivery, from the very early stages through to the final installation. This will involve interaction with key stakeholders and taking responsibility for delivery and budget.
The organisation is looking for an individual with around 7 years experience in digital circuit design using VHDL for FPGAs, QDR/DDR memory interfaces, PCI-Express, 10G Ethernet, etc. You will also have experience in product design and testing, for example with EMC Compliance. It would be very desirable if you had further experience in programming for Linux in C and Object Orientated programming in C++ or Java.
