The Web Content Administrator Role:

They are looking for an enthusiastic and talented, digital savvy Web Content Assistant, ideally with some experience of working in a fast paced marketing environment, with an appreciation for good design and a great eye for detail.

The ideal candidate will be hungry to work on an interesting mix of projects for the various brands within their group of companies, will be ambitious and willing to contribute ideas and energy.

They will be able to deliver under pressure and to tight deadlines and will be naturally collaborative.

They will also have a natural interest in the latest digital trends and technological advancements.

Job Purpose:
  • Become an integral part of our clients UX team, working alongside the content manager ensuring content across all our websites is up to date, accurate and meaningful.
  • Build / modify web pages across all relevant websites.
  • Configuration of content in Liferay Content Management System.
  • Carry out weekly / daily updates as part of larger projects, minor enhancements and production fixes.
  • Own tasks and problems that arise and see them through to a satisfactory outcome.
  • Assist with quality control aspect of releasing new content into a production environment.
  • Build relationships with brand teams and external development partners
  • Maintain integrity of website structure and metadata to ensure SEO optimization
Principal Accountabilities:

The candidate will play a key role in helping them build / further enhance a suite of extraordinary ecommerce websites and mobile apps that are world class in terms of content, design and functionality.

Teamwork is a cornerstone of success in this Web Content Administrator role and an ability to communicate with colleagues from a range of different disciplines is key.

Essential Skills Required:
  • Experience in working with Content Management Systems
  • Strong planning / organizational skills and working to deadlines
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural setting / across geographies
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good command of English language, grammar and spelling
  • Basic CSS / HTML skill
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience using Liferay technology would be an advantage
  • A good appreciation of user journeys
