Marketing and Events Officer
35 hours per week
Salary: £16,500 - £18,500 per annum
The post is based within Disability North Events, a trading arm within the charity. The Events Team has a critical role in maintaining and promoting the profile of the organisation as well as being a significant primary source of income generation.
The post holder will be primarily involved in all aspects of marketing, including social media, public relations and events organisation.
Applicants should have excellent communication, interpersonal and business skills. They should also have sound organisational abilities and be effective in time management and multi-tasking. A creative, flexible and team focused approach as well as a commitment to the principles of empowerment for disabled people are also essential.
