Relative Experience Project
Project worker for Durham and Darlington @ £22K per year pro rata 3 days pw
Do you want to be part of an exciting new project helping to change the lives of families raising a relative’s child, often in difficult circumstances? Charities Grandparents Plus, Family Lives and the Family and Childcare Trust have joined forces to deliver the Relative Experience Project. We provide trained volunteer befrienders for grandparents and family carers who are raising children who cannot live with their parents. Based in North Shields and with outreach workers in Teesside and we are now looking to extend the work across Durham and Darlington. The project has been funded by the Big Lottery Silver Dreams Fund until March 2017.
We are looking for an experienced project worker to join our team, working from home and covering Durham and Darlington. The role can be worked flexibly, by agreement and we offer 30 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata).
The post is offered on a fixed term contract to March 2017.
